The path to our May 8 Presentation of Grants has several steps
Women's Fund members who joined by December 31, 2016 created a pool of donated funds to be distributed this spring.
After nearly a year of research, our Research Committee is completing a ballot of deserving nonprofit candidates to be considered for 2016-17 Women's Fund grants.

Michael Bryant at Bryant & Sons is again underwriting the printing of our Annual Report and Ashley Parker-Snider at Fess Parker Winery is providing wine for our reception. We are so grateful for their generosity!
One of the important principles of the Women’s Fund is minimizing our costs so we can donate maximum dollars into the community. Donations from our underwriters plus the $25 fee attendees will pay at the door will cover 100% of our event costs.
Another Women’s Fund principle is that we don’t hold fundraising events. But our two big member events each year—the Presentation of Grants in the spring and the Site Visit Kick-Off in the fall—are excellent “friend-raising” opportunities to introduce the Women’s Fund to potential new members.
Women's Fund members are encouraged to invite potential members to the May 8 reception. As you see below, we are seeking sponsors for our guests so we are able to cover their cost to attend without charging them.
Presentation of Grants underwriting opportunities:
- Sponsor four guests $100
- Reception program printing $100
- 13th anniversary stand-up banner $300

Would you like to volunteer at this event?
Volunteering is a fun way to meet other Women's Fund members. We always need help greeting and registering attendees, setting up and cleaning up after the event.
