Last August we announced important changes in our Women's Fund calendar:

• Extending the deadline to join the 2010 Women's Fund from December 1 to December 31.

• Changing the date for mailing the 2010-11 ballots for membership voting from immediately after Christmas to March 21, 2011. The deadline to return completed ballots will be April 8.

• Changing the date of our Presentation of Awards Luncheon from February to Monday, May 2, 2011 at a larger venue, Fess Parker's Doubletree.

These changes were made to improve WF operations and the ability to research nonprofits to award WF grants. The Research Committee is now finishing it rigorous research process (see Dec 2010 newsletter) in order to finalize the ballot coming to members on March 21.

Since we've outgrown the El Paseo Restaurant, the site of all previous Awards Luncheons (thanks to generous hosts Meredith and John Scott), we're moving to Fess Parker's Doubletree on May 2. Kathryn Calise is generously underwriting our luncheon at this new location.
