Because space is limited at our upcoming 7th Annual Site Visit on November 16, we are sending you this advanced copy of the October Women's Fund Newsletter (below), which provides details of this popular event and an opportunity for you to RSVP early.

If you would like to attend the Site Visit, we urge you to let us know now via this RSVP link so you can be assured a spot at this always "sold-out" event.

On October 19, this early registration will close when we distribute our e-newsletter to all WF members and newsletter recipients. It will be first-come for the spaces available through the RSVP deadline of November 4.

Join us on November 16 when we visit our most recent grant recipients to see first-hand how they are changing lives and leveraging our 2010-11 Women's Fund grants.

You won't want to miss the 7th Annual Women's Fund Site Visit from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm on Wednesday November 16. This popular event features a morning bus tour of three grantees followed by a luncheon program where we'll hear from our other three 2010-11 recipients.

NEW LOCATION

For the first time, we'll park our cars, board buses, end our tour and enjoy our luncheon program - all in one location: the First Presbyterian Church at State and Constance Streets in Santa Barbara.

Buses will leave promptly from the church parking lot at 9 a.m. The Mobile Waterford van (one of our grant recipients) will be in the parking lot before we board our buses, so come at 8:30 for an interesting walk-through.

Our buses will return to the First Presbyterian Church at noon for our luncheon program.

ATTENDEES

Because this is such a powerful learning experience, you are encouraged to bring a friend who would like to know more about the Women's Fund. As in the past, space is limited for this event so we'll create a waiting list for those who RSVP after we've reached our capacity. RSVP now!

If you're unable to join us for the entire Site Visit program - and space permits - you can come for the bus tours only or for lunch at noon. Please let us know when you RSVP.

$10 CHARGE FOR LUNCH

Although WF Member Carole MacElhenny will again generously underwrite our Site Visit luncheon, we all would prefer to have her underwriting dollars added to the 2011-12 grants pool. Therefore, we're asking Site Visit attendees to help with lunch costs by paying $10 (more is welcome), which we'll collect on Nov. 16.
