On April 7, the Women's Fund will receive a Wildlife Sanctuary Award from the Santa Barbara Wildlife Care Network. This award is given annually to those whose generous donation of time, energy and finances have "made a difference in our community, our sanctuary."

Founded in 1988, the Wildlife Care Network rescues and rehabilitates injured wild birds, mammals and reptiles in Santa Barbara County. Staff and volunteers help more than 4,000 birds and small mammals annually.
