For more than 50 years, SEE International has connected volunteer medical professionals with underserved communities around the world, providing free, sight-restoring surgeries, vision care, and training to build sustainable eye care systems in over 80 countries. Closer to home, SEE’s Santa Barbara–based programs deliver free comprehensive eye care—including exams, glasses, and surgical referrals—to uninsured and low-income residents across Santa Barbara County, helping bridge critical gaps in access to care.

Thanks to a Women’s Fund Grant, SEE International is now able to cover part-time salaries and benefits for clinic and mobile-unit optometrists and coordinators as well as mobile clinic maintenance and transportation costs, and supplies and equipment necessary for its Vision Care Program expansion.

Thank you to our 2026 sponsors, as well as long-time members Carole MacElhenny and Fran Adams, who support our education programs and operations!
