Grants in Action: Visit El Camino STEAM lab

This is your chance to see the impact of the Women’s Fund grant of $65,000 to the Goleta Education Foundation to fund a state-of-the-art STEAM Lab at El Camino Elementary School.

The school acquired educational equipment, flexible seating, interactive monitors, laptops, tablets, and digital media production equipment for hands-on learning.
Due to an unanticipated increase in enrollment, the room designated for the lab has been appropriated as a classroom. All El Camino students are participating in a robust classroom-based STEAM curriculum while a new dedicated space is completed.
Each 30-minute site visit is limited to 20 Women’s Fund members.
