Since 1982, Villa Majella of Santa Barbara has offered housing, support and guidance to women 18 and older, who want to carry their babies to term, but face overwhelming challenges such as homelessness and substance abuse. The comprehensive program includes housing,prenatal and post partum care, structure, independent living skills. Emotional support includes counseling, prenatal classes, parenting and self-esteem classes as well as outpatient substance abuse programs. Communal living with daily chores, family dinners twice a week and family time together.
