Joanne joined the Women’s Fund in 2025. She was born and raised in Upstate New York and moved to Santa Barbara from Phoenix, AZ in 2016. She has over 25 years’ corporate experience as an educator, leadership coach, human resources director, customer service manager, and volunteer manager. Joanne has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and an M.B.A. and is life-time certified in human resources. She currently works part time as a nanny and as the South Santa Barbara County outreach manager for Community Partners in Caring, a nonprofit supporting seniors who no longer drive. She lives in Goleta with her husband and their Yorkipoo. Joanne enjoys beach walks, art shows, and volunteering for the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
