Leslie joined the Women’s Fund and became Recording Secretary for the Women’s Fund Board in 2019. She joined the Operations Management Team as Recording Secretary in 2020. She grew up in Los Altos, California. Leslie has a B.A. in history and an Elementary Teaching Credential from UCSB and a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Cal Lutheran. She was an elementary school Resource Specialist for 33 years. She has served in various nonprofit leadership roles in Santa Barbara, including Anti-Defamation League, Santa Ynez Therapeutic Riding Program, Santa Barbara Chapter of Literacy Volunteers of American, Junior League of Santa Barbara, and Santa Barbara Youth Symphony. She is currently the Curriculum Co-Chair for VISTAS Lifelong Learning. She has been married to Greg White for 54 years, and together they have two daughters and two grandsons.
