Jackie Inskeep joined the Women’s Fund when she moved to Santa Barbara part time, “not knowing a soul.” At first, she was a group member, but the group never seemed to meet while she was in town. So, Jackie became an Individual Member.

The morning after she attended a well-run Women’s Fund event, Jackie mentioned it to her friend and fellow Women’s Fund member Lalla Brutoco. Lalla said she was so impressed with the way the all-volunteer event was run that she planned to leave the Women Fund some money in her will.

Jackie remarked “Well, that’s a good idea. I think I will do the same. Then after thinking more about it, she said to herself “Why wait?” and made a $100,000 contribution to the Women’s Fund Endowment AND put the Women’s Fund in her estate plan.

“It still amazes me how the Women’s Fund can do so much good with so little overhead.”
