On September 29, 2016, over 200 members and guests gathered for the Site Visit Kick-Off at The Fess Parker. The afternoon began with a lively panel discussion, moderated by Carla Whitacre. Armed with examples and stories of success, the grantee panelists thanked the Women's Fund at every turn for helping them make a difference in the community.

"Changing MORE Lives Together" chanted Women's Fund members at the close of the program when Site Visit Chair Shelley Hurst challenged members and guests to stretch their goals over the next few years to serve even more women, children and families in south Santa Barbara County. 

After the program, the members and guests enjoyed a reception where they were able to mingle with the grantees and "tour" the Doctors Without Walls mobile medical clinic and the Easy Lift van.
