In celebrating 20 years of service this year, the Women's Fund of Santa Barbara is pleased to have awarded 152 grants totaling $11.6 million.

We are proud to have partnered with 72 hard-working, local, nonprofits. Together we are investing in a better future for the people and communities of south Santa Barbara County.

 

Doctors Without Walls - Santa Barbara Street Medicine

Provide funds to purchase and fully outfitted a mobile medical clinic for examining and treating homeless individuals.

Easy Lift Transportation

Provide support for the Children’s Accessible Transport program to increase the number of rides.

2015-16 - $ 55,000

Garden Court, Inc.

Provide capital funds to build “Gardens on Hope,” a new low-income senior housing and services facility.

Isla Vista Recreation and Park District

Provide funds to build a permanent covered outdoor center at Children’s Park.

LEAP: Learn. Engage. Advocate. Partner

Provide child care for low-income families by funding the Children’s Center purchase.

Santa Barbara Education Foundation

Academy for Success.  Expand the mental health program that reduces the number of high school dropouts to all three Santa Barbara high schools.

2015-16 - $ 60,000

TRADART Foundation

Provide building materials, appliances and the transportation trailer for three “tiny houses.”
